Uhura Digital commissioned one of the fastest growing FinTechs in Germany to carry out a storytelling project. The result are ten special portraits of people who have left their old life far behind in order to reinvent themselves. Completely detached from the mobile bank’s core business, the stories tell their readers subtly that the protagonists’ brave and inspiring lives were supported by mobile banking, implying that N26 is the right partner for following a new path in life.

In the first three stories published so far, N26 tells the story of DJane Annie O who swapped her 100,000 Euro job for financial uncertainty in order to pursue her true passion. “I was so driven by the desire to prove myself that I did not notice how much I had ignored my actual needs. As soon as I let go, the true magic came to light. I suddenly became inspired”, says Djane Annie O. See the full story here.

Also the Paris-based founder Donia Souad Amamra is determined to pursue her dream. With her startup business “Meet my Mama” she supports women who have escaped to France. Donia explains her vision saying “We really want to prove that a ‘Mama’ can get the chance of becoming a future boss. She can be a model for our society, no matter where she comes from”. The third story is about Miguel Gutierrez who travelled around the world in order to get to know different cultures of cutting hair. Documenting his journey by video, he became not only well-known through his two barbershops in London and Berlin, but also on YouTube. “When I presented by idea for the first time, many people told me that they would have liked to have the idea themselves”, Miguel says. Users of the N26 finance app developed the stories based on constructed archetypes. The Uhura Digital content team did worldwide research on suitable and exciting characters to tell their story. The ten portraits are absolutely authentic and they are told in a captivating manner. Thus, N26 and Uhura reinforce the brand emotionally with the target audience, using the tonality of the international, mobile and independently acting user who represent the new and particularly straightforward N26 financial services. A completely new way of speaking about money and finances.
