Why Does An Association Relaunch Have To Be Geared Towards Its Members?

The BDEW represents over 1800 companies in the energy and water industry and thus sees itself as the mouthpiece of the sector. The aim of the website relaunch was to create a technically up-to-date and visually appealing website that serves the interests of the various BDEW user groups.

In addition to improved information architecture and intuitive UX design, the optimisation of the complex extranet was also an essential part of the relaunch. In order to quickly guide the different user groups to the relevant content, an extensive filter system was implemented. Furthermore, users can be informed in real time via marketing automation about new content depending on their individual preferences.

The mediaV Award jury praised the well-thought-out concept and design and awarded Uhura gold – as did the German Brand Awards.
