Why does an association relaunch have to be geared to its members?
BDEW represents over 1800 companies in the energy and water industry and thus sees itself as the mouthpiece of the industry. The aim of the website relaunch is to create a technically up-to-date and visually appealing website that meets the interests of the various BDEW user groups.
In addition to the improved information architecture and the intuitive UX design, the optimization of the complex extranet is an essential part of the relaunch. In order to guide the user groups quickly to the content relevant to them, an extensive filter system is implemented. In addition, users can be informed in real time via marketing automation about new content according to their individual preferences.
The mediaV Award jury praises the well-thought-out concept and design and awards Uhura with gold, as did the GermanBrandAwards.
In order to optimally align the website with the strategic goals, an extensive analysis is conducted. As a result, truly relevant user models and journeys are developed to create a user-centric information architecture, new services and a novel member area.
In order to convey the positions more strongly to the outside world, a dossier section is created to set its own priorities.
Flexible landing pages and article templates: Flexible templates are made available to editors to create extensive topic dossiers and storytelling articles using multimedia content and the combination of different sources.
The mobile optimization especially requires attention in order to do justice to the insights gained from the analysis.
