Fashion Week Berlin: relaunch and content creation for online and social media

The creative Industries are a key area of promotion for the City of Berlin. Fashion Week represents one of the most important flagships in this regard.
Uhura created the new central Berlin Fashion Week website for the City of Berlin, and also provides editorial services and manages the social media overall.
The site was redesigned as an online magazine for the industry, while the event calendar, which comprises the central tool, was fully redesigned to effectively communicate the over 300 events staged at the Berlin Fashion Week. In addition, new features were integrated into the offering, including an event and location map, and the latest video streams.

The relaunch, social media management and full editorial support placed the Berlin Fashion Week into the perfect position to inform more than 100,000 visitors to the site in around 7 days, with over 60% coming from mobile devices. On top of this, net coverage of over 2.4 million was achieved through social media channels with more than 120,000 interactions on Facebook.
The site has been nominated for the 2016 German Design Award.
