When it comes to bundling technical competence in the IT sector, Berlin has been a pioneer for a while now. Artificial intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and Digital Security from the capital are at a high level by international comparison and Berlin has been a recognized leader in this area for many years.
Since March, Uhura Digital has been managing the Deep Tech Berlin campaign on behalf of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. The content campaign aims to make the success stories of Berlin's deep tech scene visible and strengthen communication within the tech community.
The Deep Tech Award is an annual highlight of the campaign. The Deep Tech Award recognizes solutions and products from the software and hardware sectors of established and young companies.
Based on a status analysis of the previous communication measures, Uhura's campaign team developed a new strategic orientation to better and more effectively integrate the award and communication measures such as the website, social media communication and paid media measures.
In this way, Uhura's editorial team, together with experts from the tech scene, was able to create truly relevant topic articles and insights and distribute them effectively in specific formats via social media and media cooperations. Campaign management now follows coordinated guidelines and goals rather than ad hoc communication without content and visual recognition.
The Deep Tech Award ceremony on August 27th was a success despite the circumstances during the Corona pandemic. Uhura reacted quickly to the new conditions and evaluated technical solutions such as the use of the live stream to stage the award ceremony attractively. Uhura also adjusted the campaign elements and editorial planning in the pre- and post-event reporting to make the Deep Tech Award an industry highlight in 2021 as well.
